Eric Michael Vandyke

VanDyke Eric Muskegon, MI Eric Michael VanDyke, age 51 passed away Wednesday August 17th, 2022. He was born in Grand Haven on May 13th, 1971 to Jackie & Robert VanDyke. His battle with medical issues throughout his life showed his courage & strength in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Eric came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Always hid his pain with a joke & a smile. He was a family oriented man who had many passions including fast cars, working on cars, loud music, cooking, & making people laugh. He loved his family, & was always there when someone needed help. Eric also had a fiery temper, with no filter & would always tell you what you needed to hear, even if you didn't want to hear it. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother & uncle. Survived by the love of his life for 30 years Stephanie, with their daughter Brianna and his soon to be born, grandson Maverick. Along with his Mother Jackie, & his 4 older brothers Tom, Robert II, Scott, & Randy. Many nephews, nieces, sisters, & friends. Funeral service is at Word of Hope Church in Fruitport, on N 3rd Ave. On Saturday the 10th at 2:00pm. Afterwards we will celebrate his life at Pamona park under the pavilion at 3:30.
