Emily Jane Diederichsen

Ms. Emily Jane Diederichsen, age 95, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. She was born in Portland, Indiana on April 25, 1921 to Vaughn & Emily (Spade) Stanton. Ms. Diederichsen had been employed as a Office Manager for Dr. John & Dr. James Nolen for over 35 years & Dr. Kinzinger for 12 years until retiring. Emily was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Central United Methodist Church's Isabella Thoburn Circle & life member of the Muskegon Woman's Club. Emily was an avid football fan and parade lover who only missed one Memorial Day parade. SURVIVORS Son, Larry (Marilyn) Diederichsen of Norton Shores; daughter, Janet (Tom) Schillaci of Norton Shores; grandchildren, Steven (Robin) Schillaci, Todd (Barbara) Diederichsen, Tom Schillaci Jr., Lori (Joseph) vonWahlde, Pam (Erik) Springer-Johnson, Leanne Bamberg; 10 great grandchildren; close cousins, James Valentine & Suzie Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents. SERVICE Thursday, June 2, 2016, 1:00 pm and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Interment in Green Park Cemetery, Portland IN. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Big Red Athletic Foundation.
