Emery Grace Drust

Emery Grace Drust, beloved daughter of Korey Drust and Taylor Conklin, passed away peacefully on September 6th at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, after twelve precious days that forever changed the lives of those who loved her. Born on August 25th, Emery faced significant medical challenges with a strength that inspired her family. In the tender time she spent on and off the ventilator, she was embraced by her parents and family, soothed by their voices and touch.

Emery is the twin sister of Dana Drust, who continues to grow stronger each day. She is also cherished by her big, blended family: siblings Brody, Levi, and Layla Drust; Easton, Beckham, and Sawyer Lillmars; and her twin brother Dana. She is deeply loved by her grandparents, including Tammi and Dana Drust; and Joshua and Angela Conklin. Emery is also surrounded in spirit by many great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will hold a celebration of Emery's life at a later date, where they will share memories and honor the love she brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes acts of kindness done in Emery's memory. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Butterworth and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
