Elwood Koebel

Mr. Elwood Lyhmann Koebel, age 89, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born in Kirkwood, MO on December 9, 1926 to Julius & Johana (Blase) Koebel. He married the former June Litzsinger on May 24, 1958. Prior to retirement in 1991, Elwood was employed as an architectural draftsman for Casco Corporation. Elwood was a member of Samuel UCC in Clayton, MO and White Lake Congregational UCC in Whitehall, MI. SURVIVORS Son, Rev. Keith (Pam) Koebel of Whitehall; grandchildren, Christopher Koebel of Caledonia, Elizabeth (Josh) Beischer of Athens, Michelle (Derek) Svoboda of Brighton, Emily (Pedro) Peraza of Jerome, MI; Alison Mihm of Blue Spring, MO; great granddaughter, Madilyn Mihm; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 2004 & son, Donald Charles Koebel in 1995. SERVICE Friday, August 26, 2016, 11:00 am at White Lake Congregational UCC of Whitehall with Rev.
