TATE, MRS. ELSIE LOUISE Nunica, MI Mrs. Elsie Louise Tate, age 86, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at home. She was born in Bemis, TN on July 15, 1915 & married James Tate in Mississippi on February 23, 1933. Mrs. Tate was a homemaker & a member of Fruitport Congregational U.C.C. She was an avid doll collector & enjoyed gardening, wild birds & dancing. SURVIVORS She is survived by her beloved companion, Bryan Richardson of Nunica, MI; 2 sons, Jimmy Mecie Tate of Spring Lake, MI & Bobby Terry Tate of Nunica, MI; 1 daughter, Nancy Ray Stewart of MO; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Tate in 1987. SERVICE Saturday, February 2, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel-Fruitport with Rev. Bob Dennis officiating. Interment at Nunica Cemetery.
