Elsie Hoffman

Elsie A. Hoffman, age 92, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 26, 1916 to the late Peter and Bertha (Jorgenson) Thorsen and passed away on June 30, 2009. On May 28, 1938 she was married to George Hoffman and he preceded her in death in 1983. Along with her husband she was also preceded in death by a son, John and a daughter, Martha; three sisters, and a brother. Surviving are two sons, Richard and Donald; three grandchildren, Kevin, Kenny, and Melissa and five great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Donald, Richard and Arthur Thorsen. A memorial service will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
