Elmer Kuh

Mr. Elmer Rudolph Kuh, age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 11, 2019. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 28, 1930 to Rudolph & Mary (Huminsky) Kuh and served his country in the US Marines during the Korean War. He married the former Ruth O'Donnell on January 6, 1951. Mr. Kuh began his career with air freight forwarding at Slick Airways in Chicago at the age of 16. He eventually moved to Muskegon and started Intra City Dispatch which he ran until retiring in 1992. Elmer was a member of the Don Rea VFW Post 8846 & the Muskegon "Traffic" Club as well as an active golfer in the Prince of Peace Men's League. SURVIVORS Wife, Ruth; sons, Richard Kuh of Florida, James (Kasey) Kuh of Muskegon; daughters, Gerry (Terry) McDowell of Illinois, Mary (Dan) VanDam of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Merle Elliot) Kuh. He was preceded in death by his son, David Kuh in 2010; sister, Marlene Wickerink; grandson, Joey Kuh. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, October 12, 2019, 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Brian Goodman officiating. Internment in Laketon Township Cemetery.
