Elliott, Ann P.

Mrs. Ann P. Elliott, age 85, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born on September 2, 1921 to Axel and Stella (Temple) Nyquist in Muskegon and had been a life resident of the area. She was an active member and volunteer at Central United Methodist Church for over 50 years; and belonged to the U.M.W. Circles, General Hospital Gift Shop Guild, TOPS, and "Girls Club" with her Muskegon High School Classmates. On July 7, 1942 she married, Donald G. Elliott in Bryan, Ohio and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1974. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Ann M. Wells of Destin, FL and Barbara (Boyd) Arthur of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Julie Lincoln, Megan Arthur, and 2 great-grandchildren, Logan and Jessicah; sister, Wilma Lane of Atlanta, GA; and 1 sister-in-law, Carol Nyquist of San Diego, CA. Mrs. Elliott was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Marion, Estelle, Evelyn; 1 brother, Paul and son-in-law, Dr. James Wells. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at Central United Methodist Church with VISITATION 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials to Central United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
