Ellenore Childers

Mrs. Ellenore June Childers, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She was born in South Haven, Michigan on June 12, 1927 to George & Frances (Barnum) Rowland and married Hubert Childers on April 3, 1946. Mrs. Childers had been a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved all of her Yorkie dogs, gardens and tending to her flowers. Ellenore was quite the collector of plates and stuffed bears which she displayed lovingly. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband of 69 years, Hubert; daughter, Cynthia (Tom) DeVries of Potterville; sons, Christopher (Ginger McClain) Childers of Nunica, Craig (Rae Zeller) Childers; grandchildren, Jennifer DeVries, Derek (Adrian) DeVries, Daren DeVries & Chad DeVries. She was preceded in death by her parents. GRAVE SIDE SERVICE Tuesday, March 15, 2016, 1:00 pm at Fruitport Cemetery with Rev. Curtis McClain officiating. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery.
