Ellen Marie Clements, a beloved resident of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at a hospital in Grand Rapids, surrounded by her loving family. After a courageous eleven-year battle with cancer, Ellen met her final illness with the same quiet strength and deep faith that guided her throughout life. From her brave 15-hour surgery at the University of Michigan to her subsequent chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Ellen faced her challenges with remarkable grace. Even during the times when her illness returned, she rarely complained and continued to embrace life with hope and gratitude.

Born on December 16, 1955, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Ollie and Dorothy (Freemen) Rudicil, Ellen was known for her resilience, kindness, and unwavering compassion for those around her. A proud graduate of Fruitport High School, class of 1973, she was an active member of the Holton Methodist Church, where she participated in the church's annual yard sale and lovingly serving at coffee hour and connecting with her community.

Ellen was the epitome of love and caring, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling, attending Summer Celebration concerts, and lovingly hosting Sunday family dinners, creating cherished memories for her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Ellen dedicated herself to customer service, working at Hills, Sam's Club, and in the bakery at Plumbs. She also spent time working as an X-ray technician at Alcoa.

Ellen leaves behind her devoted husband, Eugene (Gene) Clements; two sons, Benjamin Fialek and Bryan (Andrea) Fialek; a daughter, Jennifer Fialek; daughter in law Laura Fialek, step-son Adam (Ashley) Clements; step-daughter Tara Petty; and her cherished grandchildren, Blake (Mikaela) Fialek, Ashley Fialek, Brodrick Fialek, Carly Clements, Savannah Clements, Levi Petty, and Ian Petty. She is also survived by her two brothers, Scott (Jodi) Rudicil and Steve Rudicil and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Ollie Rudicil, mother Dorthy (Freeman) Rudicil, her sisters Shirley Larsen, Shelly Traxler, her brothers Frank Rudicil, Rich Rudicil, Michael Rudicil and many nieces and nephews.
