Ellen Jean Branstrom

BRANSTROM, MRS. ELLEN J. Spring Lake In loving memory of Mrs. Ellen J. Branstrom, age 81, who is home now with Jesus and with all the family and friends that went home before her, died Saturday, July 3, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia, MI. She was born in Muskegon, on August 16, 1922 to Frank & Cora Batten Gelderloos and married Max Branstrom on September 18, 1943 in Muskegon. Mrs. Branstrom was a homemaker and co-owned and operated, with her husband, Branstrom's Ice Cream. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, needlework, cooking, flower gardening, Bridge Club. She was a former Sunday School Teacher, Red Cross volunteer and loved her children and grandchildren. SURVIVORS Husband, Max; 1 son, Jack Sharon Branstrom of Shelby, MI; 1 daughter, Connie Berens of Marathon, FL; 2 grandchildren, Carly Sherburn and Jera Berens; 1 sister, Bertha Dudley Nedervelt of Grand Haven; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 1 brother. SERVICE Monday, July 12, 2004, 10:30 AM at Clock Chapel with Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery.
