VANDERMOLEN, MRS. ELIZABETH 'Betty" VANDONGEN Grand Haven Mrs. Elizabeth "VanDongen" VanderMolen, 83, of Grand Haven, died Saturday, March 12, 2005. Elizabeth was born in Grand Haven to James and Barbara VerDuin Bosma on August 15, 1921. She married Gerald VanDongen on January 8, 1940 and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1967. She later married Neal VanderMolen in 1978 and he also preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. VanderMolen worked as a Community Education Aid at Grand Haven Public Schools for six years beginning in 1973. She decorated graves for many years with the Grand Haven VFW and was a PTA President at Central School. Mrs. VanderMolen was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Dunes. SURVIVORS She is survived by 5 sons, Wayne Charlene VanDongen of Portage, MI, Gene Barbara VanDongen of Grand Rapids, MI, Gary Diane VanDongen of Grand Rapids, MI, Jim DebVanDongen of Grand Rapids, MI and Chuck VanDongen of Grand Haven;daughter, Dolores VanDongen of Grand Haven; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James Bosma of Muskegon, MI; 1 sister-in-law, Jean Bosma of Nevada; several nieces and nephews.Besides her two husbands, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. SERVICE Wednesday, March 16, 2005, 12 Noon at the Clock Chapel in Grand Haven with Rev. VanderMeer officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Funeral Home in Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: In Lieu of flowers please use the charity of your choice.
