Elizabeth M. Shaffer

Elizabeth Mae Shaffer, age 85, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She was born in Muskegon, MI on April 30, 1934 to Clark & Edith (Wiseman) Hall and married Donald Shaffer. Mrs. Shaffer had been the owner and beautician of Liz's Beauty Shop. Elizabeth's strong faith was evident as a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ. She enjoyed Bingo, reading and spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Son, Carl (Lori) Schwiderson; stepsons, Rick (Debbie) Shaffer & Jack (Patricia) Shaffer; grandchildren, Kyle (Acacia Freeman) Schwiderson, Robert Afton, Bruce Shaffer, Jacob Shaffer & Joey Shaffer; many great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Cheryl Afton; granddaughter, Mindy; brothers, Marvin & Robert; sisters, Elaine & Lola. SERVICE Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock's Sunset Celebrations with Dr. Donna Rick officiating. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery.
