Elizabeth Demuro

Elizabeth "Bettye" Hradsky DeMuro died Thursday evening in Denver, Colorado, after a long illness. She was 88. Born on August 14, 1918, to Stephen and Katherine Hradsky, Mrs. DeMuro was a graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. She was employed by Capital Air Lines and then United Air Lines, first in Muskegon and then in Denver, from 1951 to 1984, when she retired. She was married in 1938 to the late Robert G. DeMuro, who preceded her in death in 1955. She is survived by her siblings, Anne Hradsky, Stephen P. Hradsky, Allesha Hradsky Thurkettle, and Mildred Hradsky Knopf, all of Muskegon; her children, Diane Rees of Maroochydore, Australia; Roberta Nielsen of Conifer, Colorado; Alan DeMuro of Louisville, Kentucky, and David DeMuro of Denver; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
