Ms. Elisabeth Anne "Lisa" Morrissey, age 50, died unexpectedly Friday, March 2, 2007 at Hackley Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1956 to Margery and Nossef B. Sawyer in Dallas, TX and had been a resident of Muskegon for most of her life. Lisa was a graduate of Michigan State University with her master's degree in anthropology. She supervised the archeology lab at Grand Valley State University and worked on numerous archeological excavations. Lisa also taught anthropology at Muskegon Community College. She is survived by her parents, Maggie Richards of Muskegon and Whitey (Betty) Sawyer of Muskegon; 4 children, Sara Cornell, James B. Cornell, Melanie Cornell, Christopher E. Cornell; 2 grandsons, Christopher James Cornell, Brennon M. Woods; 1 brother, David N. (Amanda) Sawyer of New York; 1 half-sister, Marybeth (Bruce) Visnisky; 4 step-sisters, Penny Jo (Paul) Salisz, Carol Richards, Michele Fitzpatrick, Shawn Fitzpatrick; 3 step-brothers, Michael Fitzpatrick, Russell Richards, Larry (Julie) Richards; 1 step-sister-in-law, Jill (Brian) Wiggins; and many other close friends, students, and loving family members. SERVICES will be 11AM Wednesday at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church (1200 Seminole Rd, Muskegon, MI 49441) with The Rev. David Brower officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4PM and 6-8PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 MEMORIALS in Lisa's name may be made to Every Woman's Place (1221 W.
