Eli Obradovich

Mr. Eli Obradovich, age 97, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Harbor Hospice-Poppen House. He was born in Ironton, Minnesota on February 25, 1913 to Eli & Tonika (Relich) Obradovich & married the former Iris Bright on October 31, 1942. Mr. Obradovich served his country in the U.S. Army and then went into the Air Force and retired Lt. Col. He had been employed as Head of Teachers Credentials for the State of California for 30 years until retiring in 1981. Mr. Obradovich enjoyed farming, watching sports & playing cards. SURVIVORS Sisters, Eleanor Goll of Spring Lake & Rose Stromsta of Kalamazoo; brother, Emil (Lucille) OBradovich of Nunica; 13 nieces & nephews; many great & great great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris in 2003; sisters, Annie Cooper & Peggy Douard. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, February 5, 2011, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Don Wood officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
