Rankin, Mrs. Elgie Lu Muskegon Mrs. Elgie Lu Rankin, age 77, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was born in Detroit, MI on June 8, 1943, to Guy & Louise (Van De Car) Holmes and married Bill Rankin on June 27, 1992. Mrs. Rankin had been employed as an Inspector for Hoskins Manufacturing. Elgie enjoyed cake decorating & loved spending time with family. SURVIVORS Husband, Bill; children, Rebecca Peebles, Debra Reinhardt, Ray (Tina) Weisler, Marietta (Mike) Sauer; 15 grandchildren; 34 1/2 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Janice) Pop, Larry Pop; half-sister, Ardath Holmes; many nieces, nephews cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Weisler; great-grandson, Mason; brother, James Holmes; half-sister, Josephine.
