Eleanore Elizabeth "Tommie" Trupiano, age 86, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Tommie was born August 23, 1921 to William and Elizabeth (Doppel) Thompson in Muskegon, where her heart has always been. She grew up in Bluffton and loved spending time at Lake Michigan. Eleanore was a life long supporter and promoter of Muskegon, where she was a member and volunteer at the Muskegon Museum of Art and for the Milwaukee Clipper. She was a natural caregiver throughout her life for her sons and all the people she has left behind. On November 29, 1948, she married Jerry Trupiano at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskegon; they were married for 33 years, and he survives her. Eleanore was a good Christian woman who was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and volunteered there for many events. SURVIVORS also include her sons, David (Patricia DelPozzo) Trupiano of Woodside, CA and Daniel Trupiano of Los Angeles, CA; her sister, Julia Hull of Muskegon; 2 cousins and many nieces and nephews. Eleanore was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie in 1972, her brother, Ronald Thompson, and her sister, Bernice "Bunny' Derda. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, November 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (239 W. Clay) with Rev. Fr. Thomas Page presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS in Tommie's name may be made to Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence or Every Woman's Place.
