Eleanore Thunfors

Mrs. Eleanore K. Thunfors, age 93, passed away Saturday evening, May 12, 2007 at her home. She was born in Muskegon on August 5, 1913 to John and Ellen (Carlson) Anderson and was a life resident. Mrs. Thunfors had been employed by Hackley Hospital for many years as an office manager. She was a member of the Viking Linne' Lodge #57, McGraft Congregational Church and a former member of Samuel Lutheran Church. On May 10, 1941, she married Bertil M. "Bert" Thunfors and he preceded her in death on September 9, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter, Jeanne E. Payne. She is SURVIVED by a son-in-law, Peter (Carol) Payne; many nieces and nephews; and a very good friend, Ingrid Pietsch. Honoring her wishes, there will be no services for Mrs. Thunfors. INTERMENT will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
