Elden Bonter

Elden C. Bonter age 69 of Ravenna died, Monday, June 4, 2007 at Lax Cancer Center in Grand Rapids surrounded by his loving family. Elden C. Bonter was born on January 16, 1938 in Ravenna, Michigan to the late Clifford and Viola (Patterson) Bonter. He married Lorraine Kay Slocum on November 15, 1975. Eldon was a mailman for the U.S. Postal Service. Elden is survived by his wife Lorraine, 2 Sons: Larry Bonter and Chuck and Tammy Willick both of Ravenna. 2 Daughters: Brenda Bonter of Whitehall and Carmen and Jason Carlson of Cedar Springs. 5 Grandchildren: Riley, Blake, Dakota, Colt and Liberty.2 Brothers: Merle and Mary Bonter of Ravenna and Elery and Jean Bonter of Florida. 1 Sister: Shirley and Lee Thurston of Muskegon and 1 Brother-in-law: Ken and Joan Slocum of Pentwater. Elden was preceded in death in addition to his parents by 1 Son: Terry Alan Bonter. Memorial services for Elden C. Bonter will be conducted on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church of Ravenna with Pastor Kevin Schutt officiating. A memorial has been established in Elden's name to: John Hopkins Cancer Center.
