Elaine M. Lafrance

Mrs. Elaine M. LaFrance, age 68, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on July 31, 1942 to Raymond & Helen (Harvey) Collett and married Thomas LaFrance on May 25, 1963. Mrs. LaFrance had been employed as a Banquet Manager at Oakridge Golf Club and most recently, at Northside Pub. She loved to shop for her granddaughter, read, and watch the Lions & Notre Dame football. SURVIVORS Husband of 47 years, Thomas LaFrance of Montague; daughter, Collette (Christopher) Deblock of Muskegon; granddaughter, Lindsey Deblock of Muskegon; brother, Mike (Debbie) Collett of Muskegon; sister, Sandra (Phillip) Hallenbach of Spring Lake; half sister, Jackelyn (Rick) Dupuis of Grand Haven; step brother, Dale (Helen) Waldo of Lansing; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, William, in 2004. SERVICE Monday, January 10, 2011, 10:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment at Oakhurst Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 6-8 PM and Monday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
