GOLDNER, MR. EDWIN D. Village of Fruitport, MI Mr. Edwin D. Goldner, age 70, died Thursday, May 30, 2002. He was born in Owosso, MI on October 16, 1931 to Irving & Irma Cushman Goldner & married the former Nancy Donner in Owosso, MI on June 27, 1954. Mr. Goldner was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 40 years for various local companies until retiring in 1993. A 1950 graduate of Owosso High School, Mr. Goldner was an avid woodworker, boater & enjoyed local handyman jobs & fishing. SURVIVORS Wife, Nancy; 1 son, Kirk Cathy Goldner of Corunna, MI; 3 daughters, Terry Beach of Waterford, MI, Connie Jeff Gundy of Fruitport, MI & Lisa Brian Lerond of Grand Rapids, MI; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 sisters, Dawn Hallwood of Fruitport, MI & Gail Robert Randall of Interlochen, MI; 1 brother, Darwin Goldner of Bancroft, MI; his mother-in-law, Olive Donner of Grand Haven, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving & Irma Goldner. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, June 4, 2002, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Don Wood officiating.
