Edward G. Raddatz

Mr. Edward G. Raddatz, age 91, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Poppen House Residence. He was born January 3, 1917 in Mason County, MI, to the late Paul and Johanna (Lamke) Rudick. Mr. Raddatz was a WWII Army veteran serving in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. He was retired from Teledyne and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth (Juhas); children: John (Hazel) Raddatz and Diane Jarvi; grandchildren: Bonnie (Pete) Haub, Derek (Rachel) Raddatz, Jessica Raddatz, Susan (Mike) Jaris; and great granddaughter, Sparrow Rose Jaris. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon with Reverend Robert J. Conradt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (10 - 11). Interment in Restlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice.
