Edward Martin

Mr. Edward C. Martin, age 84, died Sunday, May 20, 2007. He was born in Pentwater, MI on December 24, 1922 to Frank & Myrtle (Knash) Martin and married the former Edna Lane on March 5, 1946. Edward served his country in the Battle of the Bulge with the U.S. Army, 116th Division, Company 424 where he received the Purple Heart Medal. Edward had been employed as the owner and operator of Ed Martin Auto Sales. He was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's Chapter 11 and he was a fan of thoroughbred horse racing. SURVIVORS Wife, Edna; 2 sons, John (Sandra) Martin of Hope, Indiana, Paul (Julie) Martin of Plentywood, Montana; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. SERVICE Wednesday, May 23, 2007, 11:00 AM at Egelston Township Cemetery with Chaplian Russ Damm officiating and full Military Honors by DAV Chapter11. Interment at Egelston Township Cemetery.
