Mr. Edward L. Elnick, age 91, died Saturday, February 2, 2008. Born August 10, 1916 in Muskegon. He was a graduate of Muskegon Heights 1936 class where he excelled as an athlete in track. He was retired from Continental Motors and worked in cost production and inspection. Mr. Elnick was operation agent for Capital Airline. He owned Old Homestead Tavern in Muskegon and The "Pines" Tavern in Grand Haven. Mr. Elnick was a long time licensed beverage business broker & member of Michigan License Beverage Association. He was a member of Golden Age Muskegon Order of Eagles and Trinity Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Edward Elnick Jr & David Elnick; 2 daughters, Judy Schneider & Donna McKuhen; 9 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren. SERVICE Thursday, February 7, 2008, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Rev. Nicholas Fuller officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Edward L. Elnick Memorial Fund.
