Edward C. Bullman

Mr. Edward C. Bullman, age 82, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Mr. Bullman was born February 3, 1926 to Glen and Irene Bullman in Big Rapids, MI. He served his country the U.S. Navy during WWII. On June 26, 1948 he married the former Florence Alger. Ed was a very active member of Twin Lake United Methodist Church for over 40 years, holding many positions within the church. He was employed as a pattern maker at Anderson Pattern for many years prior to his retirement. Ed was a volunteer for the Twin Lake Fire Department for 18 years; serving from 1976-1978 as Chief. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Florence; his daughters, Robin (Chris) Saunders of Paradise, MI and Melanie (Al) Jensen of Twin Lake; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Louise Dill of Muskegon and several nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Gladys Santos. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, December 19, 2008 at Twin Lake United Methodist Church, 5940 Main St. with Rev. Sandra Harryman officiating. Burial will be in E. Dalton-Oakhill Cemetery.
