Sherburn, Edna Mae Muskegon, Michigan Edna Mae Sherburn died peacefully and came to meet her Lord and Savior as the sun was rising on September 3, 2022. Edna was born on April 5, 1929 to Burrell and Ella (Meurer) Fenner. She attended North Muskegon High School and met her husband Keith Sherburn at Curve Crest Roller Rink and married in 1948. Together they had four children. Edna worked at Hosler's Clothing Store and later for Dr. Robert Morrow DDS, and finally as office manager for Dr. Robert Alkema MD. She loved to sew, garden, and bake. There were always plenty of delicious treats in her home. She was known for her Blueberry Desserts and Potato Salad. She was a longtime member and very active at St. Thomas Catholic Church where she served on the altar society, Chicken Dinner Festival, funeral luncheons and as a collections counter. Edna was the consummate organizer and loved to assemble the family for Lake Michigan picnics and holiday get togethers. She had an impact on many people's lives. She was one of six Fenner siblings and they were a tight knit clan caring for and supporting each other throughout their lives. Her brother Burrell Fenner and brother-in-law Martin Shields went out of their way to help her these past years. With extreme gratitude the family wishes to recognize a very special neighbor, Truman Jackson, who helped Edna remain in her home until this year. A better man one will not find. A more recent neighbor, Darcy, was also very helpful. The family would also like to thank her Church family, especially Carol Hulka, at St. Thomas.
