CARLSON, MRS. EDNA D. "EDDIE" Muskegon Mrs. Edna D. 'Eddie' Carlson, age 91, died Thursday, July 28, 2005. She was born in Escanaba, Michigan on March 15, 1914 to August Blixt & Constance Lauson Blixt Carlson & married Robert A. Carlson on August 19, 1950 in Muskegon, MI. Eddie founded Carlson's Catering Service from which she retired in 1999. She and Robert had been charter members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed her new apartment and all the people at Village at the Oaks. Ignoring her near blindness she was independent to the end. Eddie enjoyed gardening, exercising, her pets but foremost was her family & friends. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Myrna Paul Arndt of GA & Marcia Jack Lipps of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Julie, Mai, Susie, Mara & Steven; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & special friend Virginia Sieradzki of Muskegon. She was preceded in her death by her husband Robert A. Carlson and all her brothers and sisters The Stancy Blixt Carlson family of Escanaba. SERVICE Monday, August 1, 2005, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Lewis Glick officiating. VISITATION Sunday, 1-4 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Muskegon Oceana or Humane Society of Muskegon County.
