Edmund Kulikowski

Mr. Edmund Kulikowski, age 88, passed away Friday evening, November 21, 2008, at a local nursing home. Ed was born May 15, 1920, to Anthony and Pelogia (Karvoska) Kulikowski in Muskegon. He was a 1940 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. On May 24, 1947, Ed married the former Mary Ann Rollenhagen in Muskegon, and she survives him. They were members of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Ed worked as a machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for 39 years prior to his retirement in 1981. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family. Edmund is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann; 4 children, William (Barbara) Kulikowski of Johnson City, TN, Patricia (Tom) Scott of Boyne City, MI, Joseph Kulikowski of Holt, MI, and Edmund Jr. (Karol) Kulikowski of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Suzanna Kulikowski, Kathryn Kulikowski, Jon Michael (Sammilu) Kulikowski, Benjamin Kulikowski, Sarah Kulikowski, and Peter Kulikowski; a sister, "Jean" Eugenia Ignatowski; and several nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leopold and Al. THE MASS OF CHRISTAIN BURIAL will be 11AM Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 Sixth St.) with Rev Fr. Thomas Brown as Presider. VISITATION will be Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. z737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with the ROSARY being prayed at 6:30 PM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Christian Care Nursing Home building fund.
