CONNELL, MR. EDMOND J. ''HEAVY DUTY'' Muskegon Mr. Edmond J. ''Heavy Duty'' Connell, age 73, died Sunday, April 18, 2004. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 16, 1931 to Edmund & Verl Smith Connell & married the former Marilyn D. Larabee on January 7, 1956 in Muskegon. Mr. Connell had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed at the Norge for 11 years & then worked as a Millwright at CWC Textron for 28 years until retiring in 1989. He was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church & was active with the Webelo Scouts. Mr. Connell had a good sense of humor, enjoyed fishing & being with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS Wife of 48 years, Marilyn; 3 sons, David Connell of Muskegon, Edmond James Kim Connell of Muskegon & James Connell Tonya Dutton of Muskegon; 1 daughter-in-law, Greta Starback of Muskegon; 3 grandsons, Aaron, Adam & Andrew & 1 granddaughter, Shelly; 1 sister, Esther Don Carlson of Muskegon; 1 sister-in-law, Arlene Frank Zadonick of Muskegon; 1 brother-in-law, Art Barb Larabee of Grand Rapids, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Steve, 1 brother, Vernon & 1 sister, Phyllis. SERVICE Thursday, April 22, 2004, 1:00 PM at Crestwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Victor Charnley officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Crestwood United Methodist Church. Clock - Muskegon
