Edith Schutter

SCHUTTER, MRS. EDITH LOUISE Fruitport Edith Louise Schutter, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2006. She was the daughter of Garrit and Florence Olthoff, born on September 24, 1926. On June 29, 1946 she married Thomas Paul Schutter, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was an accountant in the family business, Peerless Window Cleaning, from 1948-1981. She was a member and past District President of the Women's Auxilary of VFW Post # 3734. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Roger (Ginny) Schutter of Fruitport, David (Evie) Schutter of Grand Haven, Jon Schutter of Fruitport; 2 daughters, Joanne (Amos III) Daniels of Muskegon, Kathy May of Muskegon; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gertrude Lorey of Muskegon & Betty (Paul) Smith of Washington. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Edward, Thomas, Lawrence & Hank Olthoff. SERVICE Thursday, October 26, 2006, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 1hour prior to the service at Clock Lifestory Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Alzheimers Association.
