Edith C. Davis

DAVIS, MRS. EDITH C. (formerly of Twin Lake) Fremont Mrs. Edith C. Davis, age 84, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, January 19, 2007. She passed away at Transitional Health Service in Fremont, where she resided for the last 12 years. She was born in Cheboygan, MI on April 24, 1922 to Peter & Lida (Blank) Koviak and married Frank L. Davis in 1946. Edith was a charter member of Cedar Creek Evangelical Covenant Church and former trustee on the Cedar Creek Township Board. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her family. SURVIVORS Son, Arthur (Joann) Davis of Holton; 2 daughters, Sharon (Carl Sr.) Ackerman of Twin Lake, Irene (Keith) Bultman of Fremont; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchilden; sister, Virginia McDonnell of Twin Lake; sister-in-law & best friend, Deloris Koviak; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank in October, 1972; and by 3 brothers, Lester, Gordon, Albert. SERVICE Tuesday, January 23, 2007, 10:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Dick Mead officiating. Interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, January 21, 2007, 2-5 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
