Eddie Pearl Merriwether, age 84, passed Monday at Brookhaven Medical Care. She is survived by a son, Hawkins (Della) Merriwether; 3 daughters, Wilda (Sam) Hughes, Brenda Mosby and Ann Bailey; 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service: Saturday, February 2, 12 P.M. at New Mt. Zion Church, Rev. James E. Witcher, officiating. Visitation: Friday 2 to 7 P.M. at Toombs Chapel. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
