Eddie John-Leroy Harris Jr., age 48, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 14, 1975 to Eddie & Nora (Madison) Harris. He met his wife Lia Johnson-Harris at Baker College and they married in Muskegon, MI in 2005. Mr. Harris had been employed as a Grinder for Forming Technologies for 15 years. Eddie was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and enjoyed collecting DVDs, playing old video games, learning history and biblical facts, loved wrestling, and enjoyed hosting super bowl parties.

Wife, Lia Johnson-Harris; mother, Nora Harris, son; Devon Harris-Hannett, daughters; Micah (Tarisai) Makoni and Imauri Johnson, siblings; Jenae (Percy) Harris-Agnew, Dawayne Harris, Sharonda (Jamel) Madison-Muhqueed, Stephanie Madison, Rosie Banks, Charles Robinson, James Ross, Eddie Earl Harris, Willie Harris, and Tammy Robinson; grandchildren, Nyasha Makoni, Simbarashe Makoni, and Paidashe Makoni; favorite nieces Breanne Lardie and Yvonne Jackson; favorite nephew, Johnathan Jackson; favorite great-nephew Tremaine Harris; and special cousins, Terrell Harris and Kareem Foreman. Eddie was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Michael Robinson, and Lester Harris; and sisters, Lydia Ross, Artetha and Olivia.
