Earnest Calbert

Mr. Earnest Calbert, age 79, passed away on Thurs. July 17, 2008, at his residence. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thurs. July 24, 2008, from Holy Trinity COGIC with Bishop Nathaniel W. Wells, officiating. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Wed. July 23, 2008, from 2pm-7pm, with the family present from 5pm-7pm. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: 3 sons, Eddie Calbert of Long Beach, CA, Larry Keener of Seattle, WA, and Gus (Ann) Calbert of Kalamazoo, MI; 3 sisters: Anjail Shabazz Williams of Detroit, MI; Vivian Calbert of St. Louis, MO and Marilyn Calbert-Cheeks of Muskegon Hts., MI; 1 sister, Idella Phillips of Jefferson, AR; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. A host of other relative church family & caring friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sons, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
