Earl Wakefield

Mr. Earl Franklin Keith Wakefield, age 81, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born in Ludington, Michigan on May 15, 1937 to George & Mildred (Holden) Wakefield and married the former Arlene Greene on November 5, 1955. Mr. Wakefield had been employed as a Machinist for Lift-Tech International for 42 years until retiring. Earl was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church, Fruitport Eagles and Salvation Army. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting trips with his family, motorcycles and helping others. SURVIVORS Wife of 62 years, Arlene; children, Pava (Brian) Leyrer, Paul (Jennifer) Wakefield, Robin (John) Fager, Ricky (Teresa) Wakefield, Wade (Tonya) Wakefield; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; sister, Odessa Noffsinger; sister-in-law, Dorine Strait; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Burt, Lloyd, Myrtie and Rex; brothers-in-law, Bruce & Leonard; in-laws, Ellsworth & Violet Greene. SERVICE Thursday, August 9, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Doug Strait officiating. Interment in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: To the family for a longer lasting memorial.
