Duncan Small

SMALL, MR. DUNCAN Muskegon Mr. Duncan Small, age 83, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004. He was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on April 20, 1921 to William & Jesse Young Small & married the former Mary Bennet on September 5, 1942 in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Small was a decorated combat veteran who retired after 24 years of service from the U. S. Navy. He had been employed as an engineer at Teledyne Continental Motors until retiring in 1987. He was a member of Don Rea V.F.W. Post #8846. Mr. Duncan enjoyed bowling & golf. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Edward Small of North Muskegon, Mark Nancy Small of Valparaiso, IN & Kenneth Jennifer Small of Chicago, IL; 1 daughter, Ellen Michael Peffer of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Angela, Alexander, Matthew, Alicia, Jeffery & Stephen Small & Annsly & Olivia Peffer; 1 great granddaughter, Katie Kepner; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary on July 30, 2001. SERVICE Saturday, October 9, 2004, 2:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Rev. Gary Lacy officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery.
