Duff, Frances G.

Mrs. Frances Grace Duff, age 90, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Duff was born June 22, 1916, the third of twelve children to Harley and Reeta (McClain) Garvey in Muskegon. On April 5, 1952 she married Thomas W. Duff in Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1994. Mrs. Duff was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church and was employed for 25 years by Mona Shores Public Schools as a custodian. SURVIVORS include her daughters, Maureen Patrick of Grand Rapids, Shirley Tate of Grand Haven and Jessie (Paul) Kleyn of Muskegon; 17 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Vivian) Garvey, Alan (Shirley) Garvey, Cecil (Lana) Garvey and Bill (Marie) Garvey; 1 sister, Judy (Donald) Ferris and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2007 at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 2500 E. Laketon Ave. with Rev. Marvin G. Wassink presiding. Interment: Norton Cemetery. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at Lee Funeral Home, 2812 Fifth St. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Care Nursing Center.
