Duane Henry Guss

Guss, Mr. Duane Henry Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Duane Henry Guss, age 58, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 19, 1963 to Henry & Jean (Kovalcik) Guss. He married the love of his life, former Janet Smith on June 10, 2005. Mr. Guss had been employed as a welder for Metal Arc and was a member of Calvary Church. Duane enjoyed almost everything outdoors including, fishing, boating, yardwork, and playing horse shoes. When he wasn't outside Duane loved to collect and tinker with model cars, playing cribbage with his family, and playing pool. SURVIVORS Wife, Janet Guss; Daughter, Stephanie Baun; Step-children, Tiffany Musk, Aaron Musk; Grandchildren, Bianca Baun, John E. Simila; Mother, Jean Mahoney; Siblings, Darrin (Shelly) Guss, Barb (Dan) VanZanten; Special Uncle, Frank Kovalcik; Uncle, Bob (Jan) Kovalcik; Several nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Henry Guss; Step-Father, Jerry Mahoney; Niece, Ashley Upson.
