Drusilla Mcmillan

Born April 5th, 1929 to Donald & Clara Sutherland in Detroit, MI. Drue passed away March 12th, 2010 at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. Drue married her high school sweetheart, Ken (Big Mac) McMillan, January 21, 1950. Together they had three children. She worked for Sears in Muskegon, MI for over 25 years in the Parts Department. Later she spent 5 years taking care of her loving husband until he passed in 2004. After his death, she spent much of her time devoted to traveling between Michigan, Colorado and Mississippi to be with her children. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Muskegon, MI and St. Stephen Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs, CO. In both parishes, she formed many close and cherished friendships. Drue's passion was games, puzzles, bowling and travel. Drue had a knack of taking on a true motherly role with whom she came in contact. She leaves behind so many dear friends and spiritual sons and daughters. We would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care she received from so many physicians who tried desperately to help our mother. SURVIVORS She is survived by her children, Linda (Denny) O'Brien, Rev. Cliff McMillan and Donald McMillan; grandchildren, Robert (Larissa) & Christopher Swanson; great grandchildren, Adam & Cecilia Swanson; step grandchild, Jennifer (Chris) Yeager, & numerous other grandchildren; step grandchildren; in-laws, nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Robert. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, March 19, 2010, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Muskegon.
