Drucilla "Dru" Nash

Mrs. Drucilla "Dru" Nash, age 81, died Wednesday morning, August 27, 2008. She was born November 2, 1926 in Castle Dale, Utah to Samuel and Atlanta (Berg) Zwahlen and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1950. Mrs. Nash was an LPN for Hackley Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Giles Road. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she enjoyed cross stitch and needle point, and loved to read. On April 24, 1947 she married Harry J. Nash in Salt Lake City, Utah and he survives her along with 9 children, Sherry (Jerry Melius) Schuiteman of Grant, MI, Marcia (Jerald) Cohn of Atlanta, GA, Nettie Miller of Long Beach, CA, Gregg (Beth) Nash of North Muskegon, Gary (Julie) Nash of Grandville, MI, Garth (Becky) Nash of Paw Paw, MI, Garrett (Shannon) Nash of Muskegon, Glenn Nash of Okinawa, Japan, Geoffrey (Tina) Nash of Muskegon; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Shirlee Gilbert of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ruth (Earl) Ellefsen of San Leandro, CA, Judy (William) Knox of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jean Mitchell of Spokane, WA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Samuel and Carl Zwahlen. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1725 W. Giles Rd.) with Bishop John Viraldo conducting. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St.
