Dr. Richard Kislov, age 91, formerly of Muskegon, passed away at home on Friday, November 16, 2012. He was born on April 30, 1921 to Daniel and Anna Kisielow. Richard graduated from Medical School in Tubiugen, Germany in 1950. He immigrated to the United States in 1951. He completed a residency in general surgery in Rockford, Illinois and a residency in reconstructive surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In 1958, he began his private practice of nearly 40 years in Muskegon, Michigan. He was known as a skilled surgeon, a sculptor, a lay architect, a landscaper and pond designer and as a great lover of nature. SURVIVORS He is survived by his loving wife, Friederike; two children, Daniel (Carmen) Kislov of Hesperia and Christina Kislov of Muskegon; two step-children, Henry Eckart Matthaei of Lansing and Tilman Z. (Mary) Mathis of Greenville. MEMORIAL GATHERING Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 1-4 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
