Douglas S. Potter

POTTER, MR. DOUGLAS S. Norton Shores Mr. Douglas S. Potter, age 61, died Saturday, August 14, 2004. He was born in Ludington, MI on January 6, 1943 to William & Pauline Speas Potter and married the former Susan Oliver on July 30, 1966. Mr. Potter had served his country in the U.S. Army and received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University. He had been employed in Research & Development at Howmet for 32 years and was a member of the Muskegon Vikings. SURVIVORS Wife of 38 years, Susan; son, Daniel Potter of Muskegon; daughter, Laura Kelly Thomas of TX; 2 grandchildren, Hunter father, William Potter of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Judy Tom Flickema of SD, Wanda Jim Powers of Ravenna; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. SERVICE A memorial service will be held at a later date. VISITATION Tuesday, August 17, 2004, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
