HASPER, MR. DOUGLAS F. Norton Shores Mr. Douglas F. Hasper, age 61, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 5, 1945 to Henry & Margaret (Deitrich) Hasper and married the former Terry Rice on July 22, 1966. He served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict completing three tours of duty. Mr. Hasper had been employed as a truck driver & steel hauler at Castle Metals for 30 years. He was a member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church, President of the Churchill Athletic Association, enjoyed coaching baseball & playing golf. SURVIVORS Wife, Terry; 3 sons, John (Michele) Hasper of Syracuse, NY, Andy (Mary) Hasper of Muskegon, Joseph (Laurie) Hasper of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren,Alexis & John, Ashley & Victoria, Kaitlyn, Lauren 1sister, Nancy Johnson of Holt, MI; 1 brother, Jim (Ruth) Hasper of Spring Lake, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Daniel Joseph Hasper. SERVICE Friday, August 4, 2006, 3:00 PM at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with Rev. John Thompson officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Hackley VNS Hospice.
