Douglas Cross

Mr. Douglas Daniel Cross, age 82, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan on December 8, 1933 to Clifford & Orabell (Eaton) Cross and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Cross had been employed at Lift Tech/Dresser Industries for 50 years until retiring. Douglas was a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles and loved playing guitar in Country Western bands including Bob Duncan & the String-A-Longs and others for over 25 years. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Sons, Daniel Cross & William Cross, both of Fruitport; grandson, Rodney Cross of Muskegon; sister, Connie (Don) Tetzlof of CA; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Gordon, Harold "Stub", Bill, Carol and Chuck; former spouse, Joyce Cross; stepson, David Maynard.
