Douglas Berge

Mr. Douglas A. Berge, age 57, died Monday, February 3, 2014. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 9, 1956 to Arthur & Grace (VanderVelde) Berge. Mr. Berge had been employed as a heavy equipment operator and brick layer at Tridonn Construction. Doug was an avid fisherman who was a gifted woodworker. SURVIVORS Brother, Michael (Sheri) Berge and his children Lou Arthur Berge, Douglas Joel Berge and Michael Arie Berge; aunt, Louise (Dick) Smith; several other aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Debbie Hendershot; his special Labrador companions, Blue and Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Ann Berge and Chari Seigel. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating.
