Dorothy L. Heaton Bluhm Vankrevelen

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Heaton Bluhm VanKrevelen, beloved aunt, age 103, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was born in Ravenna (Slocum), Michigan on January 15, 1914 to Calvin & Alice (Webb) Heaton. Dorothy graduated from Muskegon High School in 1930 and attended the Muskegon School of Business (Baker College). Dorothy met Clyde W. Bluhm and married him on June 27, 1933 in Goshen Indiana. After Clyde's passing she met and married James VanKrevelen on March 17, 1966. Her first job was secretary at Sealed Power until moving to Norge Corp. From there, Dorothy worked in Human Resources at Muskegon Manufacturers Association and then would retire from Wilbur Products. She lived all her life in Muskegon County until 2004 when she moved to Hart, Michigan. Dorothy was an active member of the Muskegon Country Club and loved to golf, dance and bowl. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Dorothy leaves behind several beloved nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde W. Bluhm of Muskegon Heights, MI who died in 1960 and James VanKrevelen of Muskegon, MI who died in 1997; sisters, Helen K. Heaton Lockage and Frances Heaton LaTouneau; brothers, Kenneth P Heaton and Robert A.
