Dorothy Szejn

Mrs. Dorothy I. Szejn, age 94, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 19, 1920 to William & Emma Mosher and was adopted at age 8 by John & Rea (Foster) Miller. She married Albine Szejn on November 24, 1937. Dorothy was a member of Fruitport Bethel Baptist Church where she had also taught Sunday School for a number of years. SURVIVORS 6 children, Bartlett (Rose) Szejn of Ravenna MI, Bradley (Sharon) Szejn of WI, Brian (Rhonda) Szejn of AZ, Bernice (Gary) Shannon of Lake MI, Beverly (Paul) Wicklander of Lansing MI, Bonnie (Bill) Budenbender of SC; 20 living grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albine Szejn and 6 siblings: Clinton Mosher, Harold Miller, Sandy Sanderson, Alice Kay, Judith Case and Edwina Bennett. SERVICE Saturday, November 8, 2014, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock's Sunset Celebration Center in Fruitport with Rev. T. Brian Ballard officiating.
