Smith, Ms. Dorothy Marie Muskegon, Michigan Ms. Dorothy Marie Smith, age 94, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She was born in Muskegon, MI on August 10, 1926 to Carl & Anna (Swarvar) Berg and married Roy Smith on July 1, 1947 in Muskegon. Ms. Smith was a member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church and a former member of the VASA Lodge. Dorothy was a previous State Ladies Horseshoe Champion, she also sang in the groups, Sonshine Trio and the Melodeers. She enjoyed watching birds, gardening, and traveling whenever she could. SURVIVORS Children, Barbara Johnson, Linda (Terry) Brandt, Peggy Smith, James Smith, Carl (Sharon) Smith; 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren; Daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith; Many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Roy; Son, Thomas Smith; and 10 Siblings. SERVICE A private family graveside service will take place. Internment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
