Dorothy Rogers

Dorothy Agnes Rogers age 83, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at McAuley Place in Muskegon. Dorothy A. Rogers was born on January 24, 1924 in East Jordon to the late Henry and Mary (Bashaw) St. John. Dorothy married Leo Jannenga and he died on December 25, 1945. On December 2, 1950 Dorothy married Otis Rogers and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2004. Dorothy is survived by 3 Sons: William E. and Ruth Ann Jannenga of Fremont, George C. and Loraine Rogers of Muskegon and John S. and Paula Rogers of Fruitport. 1 Daughter: Mary E. and Bill Brown of Muskegon. 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. 1 Daughter in-law: Regina Jannenga of Tennessee, 2 Sisters: Belle and Mahlon Lambert of Ludington and Ruth Zuidema of Holland. 2 Special Nephews: Robert and Linda Rogers of Coopersville and Tom and Nancy Rogers of Allendale. Dorothy was preceded in death in addition to her parents, Husband's Leo and Otis by 1 Son: Leslie David Jannenga and 1 Daughter: Beverly Ann Hill and 1 Grandchild: Gorden A. Hill. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 10:00am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with Monsignor Porter celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery. The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm. Memorials may be directed to Harbor Hospice or McAuley Place
